7-Day Indian Diet Plan for Fatty Liver Reversal (Grade 1 & Grade 2)
Reversing Grade 1 and Grade 2 fatty liver requires a combination of caloric restriction, low glycemic index (GI) carbohydrates, high dietary fiber, and healthy unsaturated fats. This 7-day meal plan reduces liver fat accumulation, improves insulin sensitivity, and lowers liver enzymes (SGOT/SGPT).
4 Golden Rules Before You Begin
-
Strict Oil Limit: Restrict total cooking oil to 2–3 teaspoons (10–15 ml) per day. Use cold-pressed mustard oil, groundnut oil, or extra virgin olive oil.
-
Zero Liquid Calories: Eliminate packaged fruit juices, sodas, sugary tea/coffee, and alcohol completely.
-
Carbohydrate Swaps: Replace white rice and refined wheat flour (maida) with complex grains like jowar, bajra, ragi, foxtail millet, and oats.
-
The 8:00 PM Rule: Finish dinner by 7:30 PM–8:00 PM to give your liver a 12-hour fasting window overnight.
